Kapua's Story

My favorite memories of MESA were the ones that involved working with a prototype of our design and finding ways to improve it. The constant collaboration of all the students and the team work were what made MESA so memorable. The people that I met and the connections I developed were more impactful to me later on in life than I realized. Without MESA, I don't know what my life would look like today because of all the small things so many people did.

During college, I have been pursing two tech degrees while studying and researching about inclusivity and accessibility in computing. I'm about to start a career in student services and have plans to continue my education in leadership and education.
